I recently booked a cruise through Carnival Cruiselines for two separate staterooms. Upon arriving at the airport to head to Miami to get on our cruise, we learned our flight had been cancelled due to weather, and there were no other flights until the day after our cruise left.
I filed my claim through Aon, and received my money within two months. As annoying as it was that it took so long, I was not denied, and was reimbursed in checks. If you read the insurance policy, it will tell you what it covers.
If you file a claim for a circumstance that is not covered, of course they’re not going to approve it. I have no complaints, and they were fair to me.
