Aon - Got sick on Norwegian cruise

Details
I got sick on Norwegian cruise, went to the hospital there and charged me over $1250 for half hour check and couple medications they gave me. Thank God for AON, I bought travel insurance for $25 before I left, when I got back I submitted the claim and received the full payment in 12 days. I highly recommend this company but don't recommend Norwegian, go with Royal Carribean

Forget the BBB ; they can and will do nothing. Companies pay for that little gold foil sticker ; the BBB is not a consumer protection police organization - they are there to promote business. Taking a consumer's report is just a placebo - a sham ; it does nothing except sit in a file.

Aon in Olney, Maryland - Worse insurance with fake advertising

Travel to Finland on Dec 2018, and one of the luggage’s never arrived until the very last night we were in the hotel ready for departure. Submitted the claim in January to Airlines and travel ins. Airline responded it was too late for them to take care of us. Fine no worries we have insurance. We are in June and travel insurance still asking for my airlines settlement that i never got one. Now they want me to send it to home owners insurance, but i payed them. Why they can not pay, when they sold my the travel policy they didn’t say I have to go to my homeowners insurance otherwise I would have never gotten.

Aon - Royal Caribbean - WORST TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN - WASTE of $$$$$

We cancelled our cruise due to the sale of our house closing date. We were denied a 100% refund due to the reason of not falling into their limited categories; death, medical, etc. Then to add more salt to the wound, we will only receive 75% in a credit for a cruise on Royal Caribbean. No refund of any kind. The credit is for 1 year and non-transferable. I happened to mentioned cancer treatments and was told if you have a pre existing condition it is not covered. This is not a resolution that one would expect for paying this type of money. Why would we ever want to go on another cruise with Royal Caribbean or ever take out travel insurance again.

Aon - Failure to honor insurance

Details
June 10, 2019 We contacted AON in April to cancel our cruise due to cancer. We provided a letter from the doctor explaining reason for cancellation. We still have not received our refund. It seems that it is better to go on the trip and if something happens to sue than to listen to the doctor. Any one who wants to travel with Norweigen Cruise Line be advised that AON will drag out the time rather than pay the claim.

Royal Caribbean in Hollywood, Florida - WORST TRAVEL PROTECTION EVER!

It took me over 3 months to FINALLY get my money back after filing a claim for having prostate cancer surgery prior to our cruise. Month after month the insurance company kept asking me for more proof! Why didn't they ask all at once? Because they were then able to drag their feet thereby holding onto my money for 3 additional months. The WORST travel protection - BEWARE. You are at their mercy. What a racket!

Aon - Claim service and amount is not what was determined at time of trip cancellation

Details
AON phone service today say that due to a service interruption they are closed. I worked for the phone company and a service interruption means they did not pay their bill. I cancelled my travel partners cruise as she was hospitalized. Travel agent said we could claim a little over $700. AON and Carnival Cruise lines say all we get is a refund on the penalty. What penalty?

Details
Trying to get my reimbursement for 3 months. I have submitted the claims form 3 times now and everytime they ask for a new form. Trying to get my reimbursement has been a new level of *** What kind of a business runs on lies and having people do the work to get what is rightfully theirs? It's worth the risk to try any other travel insurance - at least there is hope that they will not try and scam you the way Aon Insurance has.
